Poem: Dimmed

Dripping down raindrops

and

dimmed happiness

turned down

imperceptibly low

But still

feeling the cool

wet

maybe

leak into

tomorrow

  1. Ah, you’re in Florida. So is my oldest son. He told me last night it’s been raining for 13 days. Here in New England, after a long-ass winter, followed by a near-daily gray, dreary, depressing spring, we are getting sun and warmth for a few days. Yay!

  2. Yes, for now I am here. It rains on and off. But then we can get a spat of no rain for a long time. I miss New England a lot. I keep in touch with my NH family and friends. The winters have been bad I know. I guess it’s just what I’m used to….
