Poem: Crash Landing

Blood and albumin

pulled into a syringe

holding the life force

and skirting extraneous aspects of belief

Dodging a bullet

others take the blow to the head

but come out unchanged

While I fill my veins with The Tempest’s smack

and wake where

Dorothy sang

  1. your blog is worth visiting hence I have nominated you for one lovely blog award. Do check it outπŸ˜„

  2. Right Pretty Interesting. Hinting Irma brings some clarity to it. But there’s still enough in it for the reader to kind of fill in their own gaps when reading. If that makes sense

  3. What I love about poetry is that everyone really has the opportunity to interpret it in their own way that makes sense to them. Sometimes mine is a bit obscure, I admit, and I try to not make it that way, but it can’t be helped I guess. I subscribe to a poetry website where I receive a poem a day. For the more modern ones, the poet will explain the inspiration for the poem and often times I don’t even understand the explanation! πŸ™‚
