Poem: Upside-down

Home

I have been searching

Are you within

Or down some dusty road?

Through empty skyscrapers

My wandering dreams take me

Looking

Where are you?

Do others dwell

In the land where I belong?

That blown out desert

Pock-marked with craters

In I fall

Maybe to the other side

They will walk upside-down

And I won’t be held

By gravity’s pull

  1. This is a very poignant piece. Your longing comes through so clearly….Home has so many definitions. Your wonderful writing tugs at my heart.🌎
