Poem: Chasing

image

Caught in flight
Her wings are blurred
And frame is slight

image

Chasing her down
While she flits about
Can make one frown

image

She can be hard to spot
Going hither and yon
An easy target she is not

image

But when she finally lands
And the shot is good
I can make some noise and clap my hands!

      1. I was taking photos of a rather splendid preying mantis, my old dog noticed my attention on the thing and promptly ate it. Photoshoot over..
